The Garden Center Group presented their Retailers’ Choice Awards at the Farwest Show in Portland, Oregon. The Garden Center Group gathers independent garden center retailers attending the show to become judges. As they walk the show floor they select items that catch their attention and that they themselves would like to carry in their own stores.
This year Old Fashioned Cotinus caught the judges' eyes. It was featured by Youngblood Nursery in their booth. It stood out with its gray-purple young foliage and blue-gray mature leaves. Old-Fashioned is available through Concept Plants growers in both liner and finished form.
