Description
Years of breeding and tasting at LSU Ag Center are presented in this variety. A true ornamental Ipomoea with purple, heart shaped leaves, orange skin and orange flesh roots. The roots are extremely flavoursome with enhanced health benefits of beta-carotene rich flesh. Both the ornamental edible foliage as well as roots can be used in cooking, smoothie and juicing. The roots can be grated like carrot in salads.
