Weigela Colorstar™ Merlot Pink has very fancy, burgundy foliage. This foliage contrast nicely with the pink flowers. Colorstar™ Merlot Pink is reblooming from early summer to mid fall. Very attractive for bees and butterflies! This compact shrub grows to 32” tall and 30” wide. Plant Colorstar™ Merlot Pink in the sun or semi-shade in a fertile, moist yet well-drained soil. Colorstar™ Merlot Pink makes a wonderful solitary on the terrace or balcony but is also excellent for landscaping, mass planting, shrub borders and mixed containers. Prune in spring. USDA Zone 5a.
